Deutsche & Japaner Notebook project
DEUTSCHE & JAPANER was invited to design a notebook for Imprimerie Du Marais Paris. Being one party of a total 8 brought together in the final package. Ohter designers invited to this wonderful exercise were our dear fellow Johannes Breyer, Grandpeople, Visiotypen, Inventory Studio, Studio Will, Camilla Diedrich and Brogen Averill.
Embossed, hot foiled, sewn, varnished, silk screened. 2 Pantones.
Bride&Wolfe's monsieur chapeau

Quirky, timeless and iconic, Monsieur Chapeau is a free standing sculpture, composed of three rearrangeable timber elements (bowler hat, moustache and pointing hand).
Merging aristocratic stiff-upper-lip with a dash of Surrealism and a nod to early 20th century typography Monsieur Chapeau is currently available in hand-varnished walnut or black ; the reverse side is white.

"I thought I would share a little sneak peek of the bar front at the new Mr & Mrs G Bar which I have been working on and which is set to open here in Brisbane by the end of next week!! We have used a patchwork of hand-painted blue and white tiles on the front of the bar as above! It's going to be such a beautiful place! I'll definitely post more pictures once it opens next week!!

Instant Grass by Jaco Janse van Rensburg
Instant Grass is a hip agency that needed a new space to reflect the unique services and viewpoint they offer their clients. A large open-plan space asked for semi-permanent zones that can be customised for spontaneous brainstorm sessions with curtains and screens. It features a bespoke 11m. table that blurs the line between desk and kitchen table, numerous art installations, uniquely up-cycled items and a sense of humour. Photography by Russell Smith.
