Thanks for the post ..contrary to others i always prefer living in small places, more cozy and easier to maintain ... however living in a small space is an art, you have to know how to place everything/choose appropriate colors ..... loved the pictures, if u have any more resources about this please share it !!

Oh my dear ! I have a library full of studio living books ;) If you need any specific info , please let me know! Like for example (how to enlarge a small room OR how we increase natural lighting in a one window small room...etc) I will be more than happy to make a special post for you ;)

Thanks for the really awesome pics! I have been looking around at pictures and I particularly liked these because they are more realistic for the type of room shape that I have available to me. Renting a studio in NYC on a low budget, it is much more common to find thin retangular tooms with two thin windows (I think most articles on decorating small rooms have nicely decorated small rooms with huge square windows and much more workable shapes). Thanks a bunch!

hey hey :) love the challenge actually - Ok lets see shall we?
Here are some points that maybe help - but if you send some photos I can help more- anyway ; here you go dear
1- hang two or three mirrors on the wall faces the widows & they all must be the same size, style & design, hang them side by side with a little gap in between & make sure it's above eye level : The reason is , by doing so, you will reflect more light & will give a larger scale to the room.
2- If the windows are in the same wall, then cover both of them up with one curtain - from top, have a wooden pole & fix it way up high closer to the ceiling & the curtain it self make it in white light fabric that allows the light to come & spread more - the reason behind this also, that by covering 2 windows in one curtain is to give the illusion of a big wide window behind.
I hope the tips helped dear, if you need more, please feel free to drop me an email with the photos of the place - maha.alyousif@gmail.com
