DEUTSCHE & JAPANER was invited to design a notebook for Imprimerie Du Marais Paris. Being one party of a total 8 brought together in the final package. Ohter designers invited to this wonderful exercise were our dear fellow Johannes Breyer, Grandpeople, Visiotypen, Inventory Studio, Studio Will, Camilla Diedrich and Brogen Averill.

Embossed, hot foiled, sewn, varnished, silk screened. 2 Pantones.

Using an age-old technology of upcycling old newspapers, 100% real newsprint strips are handwoven on a loom and then paperbacked to make Newsworthy suitable for the wall. A wonderful, tactile alternative to an expected grasscloth.
