Stunning & Sophisticated Handmade Bookmarks Inspired by Classical Art & Literature
Italian designer Massimo Moreale from Silverleaf creates stunning sculptural silver bookmarks, which are deeply inspired by nature, classical art and literature. Moreale pays homage to Gustav Klimt’s work, Vincent van Gogh’s Starry Night in a series of laser-cut bookmarks. Other artistic pieces are inspired by the classic tale of Moby Dick and Hollen Caufield’s snarky remarks.
The detailed bookmarks are composed entirely by hand. Although bookmarks are considered inanimate tools, which are often left abandoned, he aims to bring life and a new universe with his craftsmanship. With 30 years of experience in the jewellery industry, the artist’s work narrates passages of precious stories, emotions, memories and wishes, which also reflections of the book the reader is currently exploring.
