Clever, probably fun as an ice breaker at a part, and a good design. If money was no object, and I had the room, I would likely be interested.
My biggest concern is: How easy is it to clean spills out of the storage areas? I suspect there would be a lot of spills, especially if the pieces slide around easily.

Thanks for the direct link :) Now, about the spills you are worried about, it is possible that when you slide the top while any liquid on it, that it's gonna spill on top & not through the storage areas, if you look closer to the part under the sliding slice , you would see an edge that fixed directly underneath for production. I must say, that I would have to check more details about it before buying it - But design wise; isn't it fab ;)
